Xdefiant is a new FPS game from Ubisoft. It has many similarities with other FPS games, typically Call of Duty. Unfortunately, we have not received an announcement about its official release date. What’s Xdefiant beta release date?
This beta version was officially available on April 13, 2023. Reportedly, the testing period will last until April 23, 2023, but many hours of maintenance are in between. You should follow the game’s Twitter to know the exact beta’s possible uptime.
Note: Xdefiant release date has yet to be revealed. It is only announced as “coming soon” on Ubisoft’s official website. However, with its beta ending, we expect it to launch soon this year.
On which platforms can you play Xdefiant beta?
The beta will be available to play on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. However, the full version of the game is playable on Xbox One, PS4, and Amazon Luna as well.
How to play Xdefiant beta
To participate in the Xdefiant beta, you must register online on Ubisoft’s website. Follow these instructions:
Step 1: Visit Ubisoft’s website and scroll down until you see the “Register” button.
Step 2: Choose one of the 3 beta playable platforms (PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S) and click the “Register” button.
Step 3: Log in to your Ubisoft account or sign in with your Facebook, Twitter, Xbox, or PlayStation account. If you don’t have an account, click “Create an account” and follow the instructions on the website. You may have to check your Email inbox for account verification if required.
Step 4: Wait. At this point, you should only wait until you receive an email with the Xdefiant beta code for your chosen platform. After receiving the code, follow the instructions from Ubisoft to access the beta.
Note: You are not guaranteed to receive the code and be invited to the beta. But please actively check your Email inbox to ensure you get your luck. The Xdefiant testing period is coming to an end!
What’s in the Xdefiant gameplay beta?
In the XDefiant beta, players will have access to a variety of features and content, including:
- 14 maps consist of a combination of Ubisoft-inspired maps and original creations available at launch.
- A range of game modes, such as Domination, Occupy, Area Control, and Escort, with more modes set to be released at launch.
- Four modes for players to represent, including The Division’s Cleaners, Far Cry 6’s Libertad, Echelon from the Sam Fisher series, and Phantoms from Ghost Recon Phantoms. Each faction has three playable characters, but only one will be initially unlocked, with the others obtainable through quest completion. DedSec from WatchDogs has been announced as a fifth faction but will not be part of the closed beta.
- An extensive arsenal featuring 24 weapons, 44 accessories, and 5 explosive devices that can be included in customizable loadouts.
